Our incline platform lifts conform to public building codes (ASME A17.7, Part XX, and CSA B355) and set a minimum safety standard to which all manufacturers should comply. Garaventa is committed to adhering to these codes, but more than that, we're committed to ensuring the safety of the lift passengers and of other people in the stairway. We regard the codes and standards as a minimum, not as design criteria. We go beyond these standards by adding safety items such as Multi-Directional Ramp Sensing and Under-Hanger Sensing-safety items that other manufacturers have not considered. And we follow up that commitment to safety with extensive product testing, and factory-trained installers to ensure each customer's Stair-Lift operates safely and reliably, as it was designed to do.
